I’m a film photographer based in the Hudson Valley and part-time in Athens, Greece. I studied Photography at Bard College, and Sociology at Goldsmiths, University of London. Having lived for some time abroad in Greece, Albania, London, and Morocco, I’m drawn to the textures of place, history, identity, and memory. Photography is my primary tool for interacting with my surroundings.
Before focusing fully on photography, I worked for years in hospitality. This experience sharpened my sensitivity to shared environment and care. From kitchens to dining rooms, I became attuned to the details that shape a euphoric gathering: light falling across a table, hands in motion, the rhythm of service. That foundation naturally led me to photograph food and hospitality settings with an insider’s understanding, capturing the action of what is served and the feeling of being there.
My years of living abroad have also made travel feel like a second language. I’m comfortable arriving somewhere new, approaching with curiosity and respect, and letting a place reveal itself through visual investigation. Travel continually reorients my eye and replenishes my curiosity; it keeps my work alive to surprise. Whether working close to home in the Hudson Valley or abroad in Athens, I carry that purpose of open documentation with me.
My visual language is warm, bold, and joyful, and my images celebrate our shared existence.
